Parent Information
The Children’s Medical Needs Fund (CMN) provides financial assistance for medical services/equipment to children with special health care needs that cannot be funded through any other community resource, including state or federal programs. The Children’s Medical Needs Fund is made possible through funds from the Kalamazoo Community Foundation.

Medical Eligibility Criteria
Families with children 18 or under living in Kalamazoo County are eligible to apply for assistance from the CMN Fund. Referrals are currently being accepted for clients served by:
• Family & Children Services
• Family Health Center
• The Free Clinic of Kalamazoo
• MSU Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies
• Croyden Avenue School
• KRESA
• Children Special Health Care Services

 

Income Eligibility
In order for applications to be considered by the CMN Fund, financial information must be submitted by the family. The CMN Fund will provide assistance, based on the financial information provided.


Reimbursement Policy
The CMN Fund will not reimburse a family for services or equipment already provided, nor can the CMN Fund reimburse another organization or funding source.
